Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging A Plus Edits ("we", "us", "our") for any project, or by submitting an enquiry through our website, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern all work undertaken by A Plus Edits on behalf of the Client.

2. Scope of Services

A Plus Edits provides video editing, post-production, colour grading, sound design, VFX, motion graphics, and production services as agreed in the project brief and confirmed quote. The specific deliverables, formats, and deadlines for each project are defined in the written project confirmation or purchase order exchanged between A Plus Edits and the Client.

3. Quotation and Payment

• All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
• A 50% advance payment is required before commencement of work on any project, unless a separate written arrangement is agreed.
• The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final approved output.
• Late payments beyond 15 days from the invoice date may attract an interest charge of 2% per month on the outstanding amount.
• All prices are exclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.

4. Revisions

Each project quote includes a stated number of revision rounds. Requests for revisions beyond the agreed number will be quoted and billed separately. Revisions are limited to corrections against the original agreed brief; changes that constitute a new brief will be treated as additional work.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide all source materials (footage, audio, graphics, scripts) in a timely manner and in agreed formats.
• Provide clear, written feedback within the agreed review periods.
• Ensure all source materials provided to A Plus Edits are cleared for use and do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Obtain all required broadcast and regulatory clearances for the final content.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment for a project:

• The Client retains full intellectual property rights to the final delivered output.
• A Plus Edits retains the right to display the work in its portfolio and on this website unless the Client expressly requests confidentiality in writing.
• All project source files, project data, and raw footage remains the property of A Plus Edits unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Confidentiality

A Plus Edits treats all client materials and project information as confidential and will not disclose them to any third party without the Client's written consent, except as required by law.

8. Turnaround and Deadlines

We commit to agreed delivery schedules. Deadlines are contingent on timely receipt of client materials and feedback. If the Client causes delays to the project schedule, A Plus Edits reserves the right to adjust the delivery date accordingly. Rush delivery requests may attract an expedited service surcharge.

9. Liability

A Plus Edits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our maximum liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the fees paid by the Client for that specific project.

10. Cancellation

If a project is cancelled by the Client after work has commenced, the advance payment is non-refundable. The Client will be invoiced for all work completed up to the cancellation date at the agreed project rate.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The current version will always be available at aplusedits.in/terms.html. Continued engagement with our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
